Numerous Baltimore websites and TV Stations, including WBALTV, are reporting that Orioles’ minor league player Ryan Ouellette has been charged with Driving Under The Influence in Florida. The 23-year-old was involved in a one-car accident and after field sobriety tests he was charged with DUI.
Ouellette told deputies he hit a guardrail after a tire on his 2002 Ford truck blew out. Apparently his story didn’t convince Martin County Sheriffs who arrested the minor leaguer and booked him into jail on a $750 bond. Ouellette was a 13th-round draft pick in 2006 and spent this past season in single-A and double-A ball.
